Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of Karmvahini — the mobile application and related services (the 'Service') operated by Karmvahini ('we', 'us', 'our'). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who Can Use Karmvahini
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide — including your name, email, phone number, and any profile or company details — is accurate and belongs to you.
2. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at help@karmvahini.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account.
3. The Service
Karmvahini connects job seekers ("Candidates") with employers and staffing professionals ("Recruiters") across companies of every size — from early-stage startups to large national and multinational organisations. In addition to jobs posted directly on the platform, listings may be aggregated from public sources such as company career pages, WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, and LinkedIn. We do our best to keep aggregated listings accurate and current, but we do not guarantee their completeness, availability, or accuracy, and you should independently verify details before applying or making decisions based on them.
4. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, resume, and application materials. Submitting an application through Karmvahini does not guarantee an interview, offer, or any response from a Recruiter or employer — hiring decisions are made solely by the posting party. Do not use the Service to misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or experience.
5. Recruiter Responsibilities
Recruiters are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the job postings, company information, and communications they publish through the Service. Postings must not be discriminatory, misleading, or in violation of applicable Indian labour and employment law. We reserve the right to remove any listing, or suspend any account, that violates these Terms or is reported as fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: post false or fraudulent job listings or applications; scrape, copy, or resell data from the Service without permission; upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service; harass, discriminate against, or solicit payment from another user; or use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
7. Fees
Core features of Karmvahini — browsing jobs, applying, and building a candidate profile — are free to use. Certain recruiter or premium features may be introduced or charged for in the future; where applicable, pricing and payment terms will be presented separately before you are charged.
8. Intellectual Property
The Karmvahini name, logo, app design, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content you submit (such as your profile, resume, or a job posting) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant Karmvahini a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and process it for the purpose of operating the Service — for example, sharing your application with the Recruiter you applied to.
9. Third-Party Links & Content
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, career pages, or communication channels (such as an employer's application page or email) that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Interacting with such links is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that job listings are error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure, or that any application will result in employment.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karmvahini and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, data, or income, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings > Account > Delete Account.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. We will update this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
